• We store your phone number, email routing data, and SMS consent records
• Each text includes a private link that opens one conversation thread only
• There is no web inbox, no message archive, and no account-wide mailbox
• Account login is for settings and billing, not message access
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your mobile phone number and SMS consent information (timestamp, version, and the exact copy presented at opt-in). When you receive email through your txtmail address, we store message metadata (sender, subject, timestamps), email content in encrypted storage, and any attachments.

How we use your data

• To deliver SMS notifications for incoming email
• To generate text previews of email content
• To provide private, per-thread web views of your conversations
• To route replies back to the original sender
• To enforce usage limits and manage billing

SMS consent data

Mobile opt-in data and consent will not be shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS messages are transactional only, limited to email notifications and reply workflows for users who explicitly opt in.

Data storage and retention

Email content is stored in Cloudflare R2 (encrypted at rest). Message view links expire after 30 days. Account data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.

Third-party services

We use third-party service providers for hosting, SMS delivery, email delivery, data storage, and email summarization. These providers process data only as needed to operate txtmail.co. None receive your data for their own marketing purposes.
